The integrated system of intelligent small hydropower stations is centered around intelligent software and is designed as a comprehensive automation device that integrates functions such as intelligent protection, monitoring, synchronization, temperature measurement, speed measurement, water level collection, generator excitation, turbine speed regulation, and control of public and auxiliary equipment. This system can meet the user needs for one-click start and stop of small hydropower station units, rapid automatic grid connection, economical power generation according to water levels, and "unmanned operation" of small hydropower stations.
The system is suitable for newly built power stations and efficiency-enhancing retrofitted power stations with generator outputs at the 0.4kV voltage level.
The application of the integrated system of intelligent small hydropower stations is beneficial for reducing personnel and increasing efficiency, improving the safety, reliability, and economy of small hydropower station systems, and achieving the intelligent, informational, and modernized operation, maintenance, and management of the entire power station.

1) Intelligent Operation
High degree of intelligence, automatically detects start and stop conditions in automatic start-stop mode, automatically completes the start-stop process, has operation modes such as generating power automatically according to given load, and operating economically according to water level, and is equipped with functions such as emergency stop and accident stop.
2) Highly Integrated
Adopts an integrated design of one machine and one screen, with high integration, integrating unit protection, measurement and control, synchronization, automatic control, and excitation automatic adjustment functions into intelligent devices, and designed to be on the same screen with the machine-side circuit breaker, excitation power circuit, and isolation switch.
3) Simplified Operation
The protection customization of each device, control parameters have been written in and experimentally verified before leaving the factory, maintenance is convenient without special tools, operating personnel can use it after simple training, the device is designed in a modular component manner, making component replacement easy without moving the wiring on the terminals, users only need to connect according to the diagram to put it into operation.
4) Standardized Platform
All intelligent devices, components, and software platforms in the screen cabinet are designed with standardization, modular structure, and strong module interchangeability.
5) Intelligent Management
Has powerful intelligent operation and maintenance management for the operation, control, accident protection, measurement of all station equipment, and information display and remote data information interaction of its intelligent system, and supports GPRS mobile text message reporting.
1) Intelligent Protection Function
The system has functions such as directional current instantaneous disconnection protection, directional time-limited current instantaneous disconnection protection, overcurrent protection, overload protection, negative sequence overcurrent protection, zero-sequence overvoltage protection, overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, frequency protection, loss of magnetism protection, and non-electric quantity protection.
2) Status Monitoring Function
The system mainly monitors three-phase current, three-phase phase voltage, zero-sequence voltage, active power, reactive power, power factor, generator frequency, system frequency, etc., DC analog measurement (0-5V or 4-20mA), residual voltage frequency measurement, temperature measurement, and switch quantity monitoring.
3) Intelligent Control Function
The system has automation control functions such as automatic power generation according to water level, automatic adjustment according to given power, automatic start-stop control of the unit, automatic synchronization closing, remote control of circuit breaker tripping, unit accident shutdown, and emergency shutdown control, as well as manual active and reactive power adjustment functions.
4) Excitation Regulation Function
The system has functions such as constant voltage control, automatic tracking of grid voltage, constant excitation current control, manual excitation adjustment, constant reactive power control, constant power factor control, and automatic transition to constant power factor control after grid connection.
5) System Communication Function
Supports multiple RS485 and Ethernet communication, supports MODBUS standard protocol and custom protocol. It also supports GPS time calibration and GPRS Mobile text message function.
6) Other Main Functions
The system also has functions such as human-machine interface display, control loop disconnection monitoring, TV disconnection, power monitoring, event recording, fault recording, system self-diagnosis, and self-recovery.
7) Mobile Operation and Maintenance Management
The system supports information release, human-machine interaction, and process operation through mobile terminals, achieving mobile office for the automation operation, maintenance, and management of small hydropower stations.
